The first Friday of every month, artists gather among the streets of downtown Williamsport while galleries open their doors to show off their works and offer visitors a glass of wine and a taste of cheese. Musical performances are also scheduled at various bars and eateries as part of this monthly event.
In addition to First Fridays, Williamsport also hosts a variety of other multi-cultural events at the Community Arts Center. A regular schedule of live productions are also performed by the Community Theatre League, the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra, and the Civic Ballet.
Williamsport is best known as the birthplace of Little League Baseball. Each August over 200,000 teams from more than 80 countries gather in Williamsport to play in Little League World Series!
