Villager Realty was voted the "Best Real Estate Agency in Danville" in the Press Enterprise "Best of the Best" 2010 Readers' Choice Awards

DANVILLE - Villager Realty of Danville was opened in 1981 by Kristen Karr, associate broker and office manager, and Tim Karr, broker & president of the five offices - Bloomsburg, Danville, Lewisburg, Northumberland and Selinsgrove. Villager says it is the largest and most successful real estate company in the region and it was voted the Best Real Estate Agency in Danville.

Villager Realty of Danville, at 326 Mill St., currently has 10 full time agents and a full time rental specialist. It was recently honored as the office of the year for 2009, with more than $43 million in sales. The top three agents are Janet Hummer, Kristen Karr and Kristin Mikita and the top new agent is Melanie Strodel. Villager says the average agent production in this office of more than $4 million far surpasses any other local agency. For a number of years, Villager Realty enjoyed a market share of 53 percent in the Montour County-Riverside area.

While production is lauded, Villager's primary purpose is to be "Heroes to our clients, community and co-workers." To that end, Villager Realty is not only in the business of selling real estate, but in the business of exceeding expectations. There is an award program in place that rewards agents' client satisfaction on an equal level with production. Villager also encourages agents community involvement, with the office being recognized for its clean up adoption and median landscaping on Route 54 in Danville and also for spearheading the new fountain fund for Danville's river park.

Kristen Karr, owner, acknowledged that the honor of this Press Enterprise Award was a team award, directly attributed to the focus of each agent to be a "hero to their client".
