Villager Did It Again!!
I have just completed the analysis of Villager's stats for the 1st Four Month Performance for 2010, in comparison with the same period in 2009. The results of the data shouts out "Villager did it again!".
In spite of a still less than inspiring real estate market locally, our five offices in the Central Susquehanna Valley MLS area found sales up 22%. Villager's agents are clearly doing the job for those who come to us for assistance buying or selling real estate. While a considerable portion of our activity was attributable to the just expired tax credit incentives, an encouraging portion of our market's new vitality is deferred demand from would-be home buyers who have been watching from the sidelines the last 18 months.
From Bloomsburg to Selinsgrove, market activity is markedly better, which affords us great optimism that the real estate market activity noted in other US areas is now reflected in the Susquehanna Valley. During the first four months of 2009, Villager secured 151 contracts for sale of residential property in our CSVBR MLS area. New contracts for the just ended four month period, amounted to 202 agreements of sale. Villager Realty's clients and customers have experienced results noticably above the rest of the marketplace.
